Boonyapha “Pette” Bencharongkul
Police Sub-Lieutenant, Royal Thai Police
After obtaining a Bachelor’s degree in Art History from Bristol University and a Master’s degree in Management from Chulalongkorn, Boonyapha “Pette” Bencharongkul spent a year in New York studying Art Business at Sotheby’s Institute of Art and interning at Gagosian Gallery. Pette was previously a director at the Museum of Contemporary Art Bangkok (MOCA Bangkok), which was founded by her father, Boonchai, the telecom mogul. In 2016, she joined the Royal Thai Police after training at cadet school and graduating from the FBI’s Pacific Training Initiative (PTI). She also studied Criminal Justice in an online degree programme with Boston University, and has plans to pursue doctorate studies.
