As a THAI Airways pilot, Kawin was always to be found taking to the skies, but that was before ending up firmly on the ground and running three companies. For seven years he flew a range of aircrafts around the world, starting with smaller airplanes before graduating to the likes of the Airbus 300 and later an Airbus 330. After he felt he’d made enough money piloting commercial flights, he opted for a healthier lifestyle. These days, he’s overseeing operations and marketing and scouting new locations for SushiOO restaurants, and working to expand the market of Munday, the Food Addict company’s salted egg–flavoured salmon skin snacks, beyond its current reach of Thailand, Taiwan, and Australia. He’s also the project manager for GVvoltage, an electrical contracting company specialising in aboveground and underground high-voltage electrical systems in Thailand. Kawin is not professionally satisfied yet, however, as he has a plan to make a difference in the world by establishing a company for innovations to deal with waste and pollution. At 37, he continues to be a thrill-seeker at heart, and enjoys flying, diving, snowboarding, and travelling in his free time. In five years, he sees himself simply as “a successful man with a lovely family”.
