Kim has helped steer the leading publishing company her mother founded towards being a learning service provider. She inherited her mother’s passion for influencing social change through reading and education and believes that “publishers can’t just be publishers” in changing times. She heads the Nanmeebooks Innovation Institute, a learning centre that provides workshops, education camps and other services to kids and parents. She also manages a book-themed resort, Rain Tree Residence, situated in Khao Yai. Each room is inspired by popular writers, from the Nobel Prize laureate in literature, Mo Yan, to spy thriller bestseller Daniel Silva.
