Nattavut, or “Joe”, had a tidy and enviable career path ahead of him in New York City, having earned degrees from top US universities Stanford and Brown, and with Goldman Sachs and Barclays on his resumé. However, in 2011 he decided to join his family’s company, taking care of infrastructure projects, including MRT lines.
The multi-talented financier also has a modelling and acting career, appearing in Thailand’s version of Ugly Betty. “It’s an amazing opportunity, and the first time I really got in touch with my emotions. In business, usually you have to hide, but when you act, if you feel something, you have to deliver and see it in your face.”
