Pita “Tim” Limjaroenrat
Pita was thrust into the leadership role of Agrifood while he was pursuing graduate degrees in Public Policy at Harvard University and an MBA at MIT. His father passed away while setting up the company, and it was up to Pita to rescue his family from a staggering 100-million-Baht debt. With a lot of gumption Pita succeeded, and the company has become one of the largest rice bran oil producers in the region. He began to branch out to the tech industry by accepting the role of executive director of both regional and global digital startup unicorns, while also previously holding the position of executive director at Grab (Thailand). He ran for public office in 2019 and is now a member of parliament from the Future Forward Party, as party list candidate number 4.
