Supphawadee “Noey” Sriboonratanachai
As the youngest daughter of Montri and Wimon Sriboonratanachai, Supphawadee “Noey” Sriboonratanachai grew up surrounded by jewels from her family’s gemstone polishing business and cutting factory. Thanks to the music and dance lessons and art competitions she won at school, Noey discovered her love for the arts and knew from a young age that she wanted to become a jewellery designer. And after obtaining a bachelor’s in business administration from Chulalongkorn University and a master’s degree in fashion, design and experience management from SDA Bocconi in Milan, she launched her own jewellery brand, Phawa. Defined by a signature wiring technique she invented herself, the niche brand’s hand-crafted products were sold at boutiques across the globe. While she enjoyed the three years she spent running Phawa, she decided to put the business on hold when she married Akapat “Kim” Phornprapha to dedicate more time to her family. Together, the couple has a daughter, Pattharaprapha, who is fittingly nicknamed “Arpels”. And while she’s no longer running a jewellery brand or travelling to trade, she still finds time for exclusive launch events and jewellery workshop visits around the world. For Noey, it’s about balancing all the loves in your life.
