Varit “Top” Taifayongvichit

Director, Miskawaan Health Group and Miskawaan Women’s Health Center

At one point on his 18-year-long path to becoming a neurosurgeon, Varit took his parents’ business advice, stepped off the long path, returned to Thailand to do his master’s in business management, and was on his way to fulfilling another dream, founding his own medical businesses. Today, at 28 and a few companies to his name, Varit is busy with expanding and creating new businesses. His Miskawaan Health Group, a collective of international health clinics offers solutions that rely less on chemical drugs and more on the latest advancements in biotechnology. The company just launched a biotechnology subsidiary and is building a German technology laboratory in Thailand, while the Miskawaan Women’s Health Center is being prepared to be grouped under one umbrella with related companies for listing. “I love the relevance of my job to everyone’s life. Health is the most important asset one has. My job directly involves improving and preserving the greatest asset for people and their families.” In five years, Varit sees himself having already started a family of his own, spending more time with his parents and elderly relatives, and being a responsible leader at home and at work. “After all, time can never be turned back and happiness is what matters most.”
