Named after its street address, 100 Tonson Gallery occupies a pristine minimalist space conceived by noted French designer, Christian Liaigre. Although simple in style, the art behind its huge glass door always shines through and captivates the eyes.
The gallery is dedicated to contemporary art, working across international boundaries and constantly participating in global art fairs – bringing the buzz of the art world to Bangkok.
It leads Thailand’s art scene in art and video installations and conceptualist exhibitions. By visiting 100 Tonson Gallery, you are certain to discover the current and trending avant-garde art practices of the day. Occasionally, the gallery also hosts exhibitions from internationally renowned artists, such as Yayoi Kusama, Erwin Wurm and Barry X Ball.
100 Tonson Gallery is now shifting towards a new trajectory, supporting an ambitious long-term programme. This year it hosts a yearlong project with Yuree Kensaku involving several different different exhibitions covering various mediums.
