Since 2007, Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn has graciously permitted her photographs to be exhibited for public viewing. Year after year, royal initiatives are consecutively implemented in an effort to provide knowledge, wisdom and insight to students and the general public through her personal work.

This year, The Royal Photographic Society of Thailand collaborates with the Bangkok Art And Culture Centre to host Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn’s most recent photography exhibition. Under a cheerfully endearing title of Hello Puppy, Greeting Piggy, the name alludes to going from the year of the Dog to the year of the Pig. The exhibition itself invites audiences to appreciate and directly engage with photographs taken personally by Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn during her royal duties in Thailand and her travels abroad.

From snapshots of merit-making at shrines to intimate close-ups of adorable kittens, each photograph comes with its own concepts and stories, which Her Royal Highness Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn personally shares through a video display. Scroll through the gallery for a preview of her work, collected throughout the past year.

‘Hello Puppy, Greeting Piggy’ is on display at the Main Gallery, on the ninth floor of the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre until March 10, 2019. 9am-10pm, everyday (closed on Monday). For more information, visit bacc.or.th.
