Among the many excitements to eye at this year’s Geneva Motor Show is a new release from Automobili Pinifarina. Paying homage to ninety years of success, the brand will be debuting its Battista Anniversario hypercar on March 2 — coming in the form of an all-electric GT of which only five units will be made.
According to the Italian coachbuilder and design house, this handcrafted model “is destined to become the fastest and most powerful car ever built in Italy”.

The first version of the Pininfarina Battista was unveiled last year. The GT is still undergoing testing and is slated to generate 1,900hp of power, which can take it from zero to 100 km/h in under two seconds. Its top speed is pegged at a blistering 349 km/h. Already, the prototype powertrain can produce 80 percent of its performance capacity.
At the upcoming Geneva Motor Show, only a limited number of potential customers will be able to test out the Battista Anniversario. It will then be made available for public viewing at the event from March 5 to March 15.
