The best things to do in Bangkok this week, including the launch of a new creative urban space, and the first edition of The Talks at Siri House.
Entering yet another week, it’s surprising how August has flown by so fast. As we brave yet another bout of bipolar weather — don’t forget your raincoats! — Bangkok as usual has not run out of new and exciting things to look forward to. Among the events to keep an eye out for this week, we see the debut of a new series by Siri House — called ‘The Talks at Siri House’. Bringing together leaders and contributors of specific fields, the monthly talks aim to gather critical thinkers to discuss the current situation of our country, and how we can move forwards and face issues of the future. Another rather exciting happening to mark on your calendars is a takeover at Havana Social, by none other than Gabriel Lowe, the Bar Manager of up and coming Paradise Lost. Add to that, a series of striking exhibitions, and your week ahead will doubtlessly be packed. Scroll to see your plans!
