ART & CULTURE — Organised by the Embassies of Spain in Thailand, Philippines, and Australia, along with the Instituto Cervantes of Manila, this year’s Spanish Film Festival will be held online for the very first time. With eight feature films and four short films, along with a series of webinars, this year’s festival will be available for free viewing via pelikula.es. Each film will be streamed for 24 hours, starting at 6pm daily (Thai time), offering viewers in Thailand the chance to enjoy the films alongside audiences from the Philippines and Australia. The festival will start on October 3, 2020, with a screening of La filla d’algú (2019), a film directed by eleven students from the Escuela Superior de Cine y Audiovisuales de Cataluña.
