Launched in 2006, the L’Homme range by Yves Saint Laurent Beauté has been extended with a new refined and elegant fragrance. L’Homme, Le Parfum started rolling out this February. The Yves Saint Laurent Beauté brand has defined the new fragrance L’Homme, Le Parfum as “YSL men’s fragrances’ most sophisticated expression of seduction.” Quite a tall order, which refers to the many facets of 21st century man that the brand aims to highlight with this olfactory range.
Noses Anne Flipo, Dominique Ropion and Juliette Karagueuzoglou were tasked with the composition of this woody signature, which is a powerful and sophisticated new take on L’Homme, Eau de Toilette. The fragrance opens with notes of ozone and primofiore lemon zest, then segues into a heart of geranium with touches of mint and violet leaves, before revealing a sensual base of cedar wood, vetiver, ambroxan, and cashmeran.
For the new fragrance, the range’s instantly recognizable flask, with its minimalist lines and hexagonal stopper, has been tinted with a gradation of blue that is evocative of ink. The perfume will be presented in a campaign featuring Vinnie Woolston, to be filmed by Colin Tilley and photographed by Billy Kidd.
