The Dior Gem Bag is an emerald green satin clutch adorned with a gemstone flower in the style of the Rose Dior Bagatelle.
Jointly designed by Dior’s creative director, Maria Grazia Chiuri, and creative director of Dior Fine Jewellery, Victoire de Castellane, the Dior Gem Bag Clutch is the result of impeccable craftsmanship in leather goods and jewellery savoir faire.
[Image: Dior]The opulent minaudière features a central motif of a bejewelled rose – Christian Dior’s favourite bloom – and flaunts white gold, diamonds, and tsavorite drawn from the Rose Dior Bagatelle jewellerycollection. The name of the collection is taken from the rose garden in the Parc de Bagatelle in Paris, where 1,200 different varieties bloom.
[Image: Dior]The clutch is meticulously assembled by hand in the Dior ateliers with techniques from high jewellery employed to set the jewelled corolla. The result of unique jeweller know-how, the “two-bead” setting almost completely masks the gold between the stones and enhances their shine.
