Self-styled “The Artisan of Emotions,” the jewellery maison Chopard has long been part of the most memorable moments in the life of the world’s best-know men and women, adorning the wrist, neck, ears and fingers of screen legends and leading ladies for many decades.
By perpetuating the heritage of traditional know-how and ancestral craftsmanship through contemporary and ethical creations, Chopard has brought to life jewellery pieces with positive worldview and celebratory emotions. And despite our love and adoration for the maison‘s creations, little is known of what goes on behind the closed door of its atelier where stones, precious metals and timepiece mechanics come together to become an unforgettable watch or jewellery. Then came ‘Meet our Artisans’ — Chopard’s first ever exhibition to unveil the brand’s artisanal savoir-faire and technical mastery to the public eye.
Staged at Hall of Fame, Siam Paragon until November 7, ‘Meet our Artisans’ highlights the Maison’s expertise in artisanal craftsmanship in both high jewellery and fine watchmaking while celebrating the artisans working at Chopard. Five key artisans of different fields have been specially flown in from Geneva to showcase their work of arts along with exceptional high jewellery and fine watchmaking creations, which are all exhibited for the first time in Thailand. Visitors will get to experience the savoir-faire in key areas through artisans working in 5 areas: The Artisan of Movement Decoration, The Master Artisan of Gem-setting, The Artisan of Grand Complications Assembly, The Jewellery Model Artisan and The Artisanal Draughtswoman.
