Here’s a collection we’re very excited about. Luxury eyewear purveyor Gentle Monster has teamed up with Jennie from Blackpink to launch a new collection, dubbed ‘Jentle Home’.
Inspired by the dollhouses and teddy bears Jennie played with as a child, Jentle Home draws audiences into a whole new world — one that’s all about nostalgia and childhood dreams.
As expected from Gentle Monster, the collection is not only about the eyewear designs themselves, but about creating an entire sentimental experience that brings fantasies to life, and takes us back to youthful days of innocent hopes and reveries.
What to expect? The collection shines through a series of diverse frames, especially created to complement different styles and personas.
From the oversized Kuku sunnies — which are named after Jennie’s adorable pooch Kuma — to the slim fit 1996, the more retro metal Daisy, and the optical-styled frames of In the Mood, there’s something here for everyone. Also keep an eye out for the selection of accessories, all of which are accentuated by the iconic Jentle logo.
The designs were aptly captured in a campaign, created in collaboration with Paris-based photographer Hugo Comte. The result sees a series of stunning, surreal images reminiscent of dreamy fantasies.
