Exquisite, and altogether luxurious, the name Lotus Arts de Vivre is synonymous with impeccable taste, precious materials and craftsmanship. One-of-a-kind jewelleries aside, Lotus Arts de Vivre is setting a new benchmark for those looking to elevate their home with rare, handcrafted decor items with the Masterpiece 2020 collection.
Unveiled during the 38th anniversary celebration back in December, the decor items are part of “Presents of Presence A Lotus Art de Vivre Masterpiece 2020 collection,” which also includes the masterpiece jewellery and handbags.
Drawing inspiration from lush nature and wild creatures, each item has its own significant story and detail that will enrich the living space with uniqueness and glamour. Highlight is the combination of materials and unique textures, through which artisans capture the true beauty of nature and transform it into a structure that is a wonder to behold.
Here are some of the iconic masterpieces that will turn your home into a private art gallery.
Tree of Life
The base is a rare dwarf cherry tree from a province in the North West of China with the unique burls caused by birds pecking on the skin of the tree. Added to the tree to create this unique sculpture are Amethyst, Citrine and Pink Tourmaline, as well as Abalone & Silver butterflies and metal birds.
Lingzhi Mushroom Owl Sculpture
Created from a piece of Lingzhi (mushroom) believed to be the ancient ‘Mushroom of Immortality’ revered for over 2,000 years, this one-of-a-kind sculpture took eight master craftsmen with a combined production time of 12 weeks to complete, working from imagining its unique design, sculpting its shape, carving the wood, to employing a silversmith to work on the face and legs.
Keyaki Crane Sculpture
Some believe that putting a meaningful sculpture into your luxurious home could bring joy and positive energy. Keyaki Crane Sculpture comes with both beauty and positive meaning thanks to the worldwide symbolism related to cranes: longevity and auspiciousness in Chinese and Japanese culture while crane’s dancing represents a love of joy and celebration of life in Greek and Roman myth. It is made of burl wood and embellished with Sterling Silver set on a Granite stand.
Wooden Dragon Sculpture
The last addition to the amazing set is the Wooden Dragon Sculpture, another unique and exotic piece that is splendid to place at an entrance of a home or as a centerpiece in any luxurious living room or office. This organically shaped burl wood sculpture is decorated with sterling silver, resembling a Chinese dragon holding a Crystal Ball. The dragon occupies a very important position in Chinese mythology. Its sinuous body encircling the table lining in a fluid movement makes it an outstanding and bizarre piece.
