Tiffany & Co. celebrates the renowned works of Jean Schlumberger.
Paying homage to one of the 20th century’s most gifted artists, Jean Schlumberger, Tiffany & Co. is set to debut a new high jewellery collection, aptly titled The Legendary Designs of Jean Schlumberger.
Celebrating Schlumberger’s iconic work — which pays tribute to the natural world — the collection will be unveiled in Bangkok, and available to the public from June 21 – 23 at Tiffany & Co. Emporium, and June 26 – 29 at the Iconsiam flagship.
Characterised by imaginative spirit and curiosity, there’s something about Schlumberger’s distinctive use of coloured gemstones and radiant Tiffany diamonds that are among the most expressive and innovative jewellery designs in the scene.
The line is highlighted by the Monarque necklace — a standout piece, featuring a striking butterfly alight among beautiful boughs of Pavé diamond leaves, set, of course, in platinum. The butterfly’s flickering wings come in the form of delicately set fancy coloured pear-shaped pink sapphires in 18K yellow gold, transporting viewers to a magical garden.
Keep an eye out on the golden accents, thoughtfully placed to contrast rather remarkably against the diamond leaves — emphasising the piece’s fascinating, asymmetrical nature. The golden branches are also fashioned into bows, elevating the necklace with a mesmerising sense of interconnectivity and movement.
