Set against a space-like set in the courtyard of the Louvre, the Louis Vuitton Spring Summer 2019 collection was one of the highlights of Paris Fashion Week. Here’s why: its originilaity was an adventure of pure sartorial exploration.

With a play on graphics and volumes, the collection voyaged into a future created (or designed) by Louis Vuitton. In a world where territories are blended, an illusion of ideal geography is born and there arises the matter of ‘mirages’. From the Latin word “mirare” which means ‘seeing with astonishment’, the idea for this collection was clear: a world the fashionista has made her own.

Think silhouettes that conquer, space-like sleeves and high-tech fabrics. The show was attended by celebrities like Cate Blanchett, Sophie Turner, Joe Jonas, Thandie Newton and Adèle Exarchopoulos. Take a look:
