A true icon of Van Cleef & Arpels, the Alhambra collection has taken on an elegant range of associations since 1968, lending itself to a rich variety of colours and occasions. In keeping with the tradition, the Vintage Alhambra pendant brings together the brilliance of yellow gold, the sparkle of diamonds and the nuances of gold mother-of-pearl to form a luminous harmony.
Selected according to the most stringent criteria of quality, the gold mother-of-pearl used by Van Cleef & Arpels comes mainly from the balmy waters of the Australian seas. Fringed with a delicate beaded border in yellow gold, the Alhambra motif lights up the neckline, a round diamond set delicately at its centre.
To heighten the exclusivity of this limited edition, each pendant can be personalised with an engraving on the back of the piece. The Alhambra motif thus becomes the reflection of a personal story or precious moment. Inscribed with a name, date or message, it becomes unique forever.

The maison is also showcasing and introducing the technique of guillochage on yellow gold to the collection for the first time to create a radiant and luminous aesthetic – a traditional style hitherto reserved for its watches and precious objects. Thanks to Van Cleef & Arpels’ expertise, the depth of the incisions and their sun-shaped pattern endow the surface with a subtle relief effect, causing the light to circulate with intensity.
As the holiday season approaches, the new Vintage Alhambra necklaces and bracelets are revealed in a poetic and wintry universe created by the Franco-Turkish film director duo Burcu & Geoffrey – via a brand new chapter of their film Journey of Luck.
