Since its opening in 2019, Rosewood Bangkok has taken a special place in the hearts of both locals and travellers alike. Those looking for world-class luxury and services with a warm, unmistakable local touch find everything they need in the comfort of its beautiful guest rooms, delectable fine-dining offerings, uber-cool bar and luxurious spa.
With its second anniversary approaching, Rosewood Bangkok is making a huge milestone with the unveiling of a premium collection of 17 new guestrooms, signature suites and “houses” that represent first-of-their kind superlatives in the capital: expansive high rise outdoor terraces with private plunge pools, the highest elevation luxury accommodations in the city, state-of-the-art wellness features and uninterrupted views of the metropolitan skyline and lush nearby parks from floor-to-ceiling windows.

Comprising of four room types: Studios, wellness-oriented Sense Studios, Two-Bedroom Sky Pool Suite and luxury residence-style hotel Houses, the latter including Nara House, Thara House and the 291-square-meter Bannakarn House.
Designed with an honor to the original structure of the property that pays homage to the hallmark “A Sense of Place” philosophy of Rosewood with the silhouette of hotel’s building symbolising the wai, the elegant Thai gesture of hands pressed together in greeting, New York-based Lillian Wu Studio further mirrors the drama and sensuousness of Bangkok in the décor and a curated selection of fine, contemporary Thai art and accessories.
The Studios
There are two types of Studios offered: 11 Studio guest rooms and Sense Studios where seamless wellness retreat experiences are offered. The Studios are styled with sensual appeal featuring textured wall coverings with geometric prints and pops of ocean blue and olive green colors against warm gray and cream tones. Wall art by Jim Thompson and decorative items by local artisans enrich the rooms with a local touch.
The Sense Studios are designed to be an oasis of calm relaxation in the heart of the city where guests can unwind with in-room treatments and therapies from Sense, A Rosewood Spa. Temperature-controlled treatment table offers the ultimate spa-like comfort. Alongside the marble-lined whirlpool, Lillian Wu Studios’ custom-designed vanity showcases a Thai-glazed ceramic basin with rose gold and polished nickel ombré.
The Two-Bedroom Sky Pool Suite
Designed to be an ideal getaway for the family, the 182-square-metre Sky Pool Suite is housed on the 26th floor with spacious outdoor terrace and private plunge pool. The deep blue leather upholstery, soft lighting from rounded wall scones and light and playful dark gray pinstriped wallpaper feel contemporary. In addition, it can be combined with an Executive Room to produce a 224-square-meter Three-Bedroom Sky Pool Suite.
The Houses
A true definition of elevated luxury living, the three new Hotel Houses at Rosewood Bangkok revolutionises luxury staycation. The first, Nara House, comes with the concept of an apartment loft of a worldly art collector as its inspiration. It showcases a collection of voluptuous sculptures and a selection of contemporary painting produced by up-and-coming Thai artists including a large piece specially commissioned by contemporary art authority S.A.C. Subhashok The Arts Centre.

The second option, Thara House, comes with spacious 208-square-meter living space and follows similar design cues, albeit with a more airy ambience thanks to its palette of silvery gray and jade green. Both Nara and Thara House can be combined with a Premier Suite to expand these spacious Houses into private two-bedroom residences.
The final and most luxurious, modern Mad Men-inspired Bannakarn House, is the pinnacle of Rosewood Bangkok’s luxury living. Located on the top floor of the hotel, it is equipped with seductive alabaster cocktail bar, grand 10-seat dining table and a full-function kitchen fitted with a wine cooler, full-sized refrigerator and Gaggenau appliances. The marbled bathroom features a custom vanity design with contrasting white and black marble stone counters, lacquer vanity cabinets and cast bronze sconces.
In addition, Bannakarn House elevates your living with a commissioned figurative oil painting on canvas by Bangkok artist Amnaj Wachirasut, a separate powder room, spacious walk-in closet, outdoor lounges, sunbeds, plunge pool as well as exclusive services upon request from chefs and bartenders from the hotel’s Nan Bei Chinese restaurant, Lakorn European Brasserie and Lennon’s speakeasy bar for your glamorous parties or unforgettable get-togethers with family and friends.
Guests staying at Rosewood Bangkok’s newest residential-style retreats enjoy complimentary daily breakfast for two at Lakorn European Brasserie.
