Located at the very top of Red Sky, Cru is decorated in a palate that emulates the setting sun – reds, purples, blues – and serves such rare bottles as Mumm N°1 Pink Champagne, a rosé predominated by Pinot Noir and rounded out with Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay grapes. This bottle is exclusive to Cru, so you’ll have to visit to try it.
Other Champagnes available at Cru include a 1998 vintage Taittinger Comtes de Champagne Brut Blancs de Blanc and Bollinger Brut Rosé.
Bubbles don’t just come by the bottle or glass here, though. The bartenders are mixing some unique Champagne cocktails that should add some excitement to the offerings.
Wines and cocktails are also available. Whatever one’s preferred drink, the bar will have some gourmet dishes to pair with it, including caviar from the Caspian Sea, foie gras, fresh oysters and then some.
The bar is now open, and if you haven’t made plans for New Year’s Eve yet, Cru would make for a luxurious place to count down to 2017.
