Blue by Alain Ducasse at ICONSIAM returns, providing exquisite tastes of France, along with a Special Menu created especially to celebrate Mother’s Day.

Entering August, Bangkok-based gastronomes once again have much reason to rejoice, as the contemporary fine-dining establishment — not to mention Thailand’s first and only restaurant by the iconic French chef — makes a grand return.
Reopening its doors on August 8, Blue by Alain Ducasse will be kicking off its comeback with a few tweaks in its existing menu — for one, diners will now have the option to enjoy an all-day dining experience. Welcoming the restaurant’s next chapter, Executive Chef Wilfrid Hocquet unveils a redesigned menu, featuring classic French staples with a modern twist.
We recommend the Lobster Thermidor — poached, and served with varying textures of artichokes, and finished with a lobster cognac jus. Continue with a serving of the ‘Frozen and roasted peach, lemon balm’, for a gastronomically dreamy visit to the Peach Melba, bringing together the worlds of classic and modern French fare.
Lovers of the restaurant’s signature ‘Blue crab, tomato water gelée, gold caviar’, don’t fret — you can still enjoy the spectacular dish, served as usual on an aromatic tomato gelée, which has been cooked for 12 hours with spices and chilies, and topped with lightly poached blue crab before a crown of exquisite gold caviar is added for a striking finale.
Of course, what we’re most excited about, is the Mother’s Day menu the culinary team has prepared for August 12. Especially created to help you celebrate mum, two menu options are available for this special occasion. If you’re looking to truly pamper mother, go for the delightful six-course menu, which takes you from crab with caviar, to pan-seared foie gras, wagyu beef, and chocolate from the Alain Ducasse Manufacture in Paris. If your mum isn’t quite the heavy eater, but still likes to relish in good food, the lighter three-course option is also one to eye, with choices available from the larger menu.
