Quarantined wine lovers, here’s one for you. California winery has taken its tasting rooms online, meaning oenophiles can sip in their pyjamas, from the comfort of their own homes through the virtual service.
As the spread of Covid-19 continues wreaking havoc on the travel and hospitality industry, California’s Clos Du Val winery has decided to launch a virtual tasting experience, led by an expert at the winery.
“In an effort to do our part and provide ease of access to our valued customers who have had to adjust their travel plans, we are launching a taste from home experience,” said president Jon-Mark Chappellet in a statement.

Anytime you purchase four different bottles of wine within an order, you’ll receive an invite to a live virtual tasting tailored around those choices. Make it four cases and we’ll connect you to our winemaking team to personally host you. This is all about you . . . your wines, on your time, in your home.
