If you missed Made By Legacy at The Princess’s Cup Thailand 2018, you’re in luck—the hip flea market is making a comeback this week, with its 10th edition taking place at the old Sermsuk Warehouse. With over 200 vendors giving you anything and everything from vintage goods to designer brands, get ready to indulge your inner shopaholic.

In the art and culture scene, be sure not to miss the duo exhibition by Dutch artists Niels Kalk and Marga van den Meydenberg at Yelo House, or Thai artist Kawita Vatanajyankur’s first ever live performance at The Peninsula Hotel Bangkok. New England based indie group Superorganism makes a stop at Bangkok before their Coachella appearance. All Or Nothing

ART & CULTURE — An exhibition by Dutch artists Niels Kalk and Marga van den Meydenberg, curated by Bora Hong. Niels is known for surreal, otherworldly collages whilst Marga specialises in photography portraits of strangers in temporary studios. Marga will make portraits of exhibition visitors, which will become part of the show itself.

The Six & Sax Duo

ART & CULTURE — River City Bangkok is hosting a mini concert by The Six & Sax Duo, composed of Polish saxophonist Magdalena Jakubska Szymiec and guitarist Grzegorz Szymiec. Familiar classical pieces are given a contemporary twist, with a repertoire that ranges from Ryo Noda and Ciarán Farrell to Franz Schubert and Claude Debussy.

Made By Legacy Flea Market

EVENTS — The hip flea market is back with its 10th edition, taking over the old Sermsuk Warehouse with 200+ shops and vendors. Shop everything from vintage and antiques, to crafts and even designer brands. There will also be a ‘Made By Thailand Collection’— a collab between Made By Legacy and over 20 long-time associated brands.

Knit - Live Performance Art by Kawita Vatanajyankur

ART & CULTURE—Thai contemporaray video artist Kawita Vatanajyankur performs live for the first time at The Peninsula Hotel. Expect an intimate and engaging performance of ‘Knit’. The performance can be enjoyed with the Peninsula Afternoon Tea, which will feature red-themed desserts especially created by the executive pastry chef.

Superorganism BKK Show

More Or Less

ART & CULTURE — A solo show by ±MaisMenos± (Miguel Januário), More Or Less shows audiences a remarkable parallel between Thai and Portuguese street artists, as well as the obstacles they resist—namely, constraint of freedom, over-authority and the fragility of democracy. Miguel showcases the manifestation of art “intervention” in urban spaces.
