On Sep 4, Prestige hosted a dinner for a select group at the newly opened modern Chinese restaurant Yi by Jereme Leung at Raffles Hotel Singapore. The celebrity Masterchef wowed guests with innovative creations that took everyone on an unforgettable gastronomic journey through China’s many diverse regions. Signatures on the menu that evening included Brined Duck Breast, Beef Tripe & Ox Tongue With Sichuan Chilli Dressing; Fish Cartilage Soup With Abalone, Fish Maw And Hokkaido Crab Leg; Braised Beef Cheeks, Tendon & Oxtail With Sorghum Grains & Wine; Taizhou Farmstyle Braised Cod Fillet; and House Speciality Black Gold Egg Custard Buns. Just as captivating is the artistic decor. Inspired by a Chinese legend that revolves around the creation of heaven and earth, the 111-seat restaurant is done up in warm shades of soft browns and cream, with materials such as stone and timber adorning the main dining room. At the entrance is the whimsical Pale Garden, a stunning art installation made of 1,000 floral strands that stretches some 27m.
