Breathe in the fresh air and festival vibes at the Starlight Carnival, which takes place every Thursday, Friday and Saturday until November. Attractions centre around movies, music, food and games. At the open-air ‘Mover Under The Stars’, enjoy flicks like ‘A Star is Born’ and ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ on a supersized pop-up screen, or grab a bite to eat at the gourmet food trucks. In conjunction with Oktoberfest, the carnival will feature its own Bavarian-inspired hall with 19 variations of premium beer.
Vintage fashion is all the rage at the Malaysian Fashion Week Festival 2019, with four fashion shows by local and international designers, and the Prof. Jimmy Choo awards. The series of events extends to art with the works from artists such as Maamor Jantan, A J Rahman and Hendra Gunawan on display, as well as a showing of contemporary art curated by Philip Wong of the National Art Gallery.

Perrier-Jouët is collaborating with Sitka and its counterpart Sitka Studio where they’ll Parisian Chef Taku Sekine, who famously apprenticed and cooked at world-famous French chef Alain Ducasse’s three-star Michelin rated restaurant Beige in Ginza and is now at the helm of the highly acclaimed Parisian restaurants Cheval d’Or and Dersou. Sekine will be joined by the dream team at Sitka, Chef Christian Recomio and Jenifer Kuah, to present a restaurant takeover not to be missed.
