For his role as the chief pilot steering Singapore’s flagship carrier through an increasingly challenging aviation industry, Goh became the first recipient from Southeast Asia to receive the Dwight D Eisenhower Global Innovation Award by the Business Council for International Understanding in the US in 2016. Singapore Airlines has also placed a multi-billion order for 67 Airbus A350 aircraft in the effort to bump up its schedule of long-haul non-stop flights with business, premium economy and economy seating.
