Tsai Hung-Tu

In 1990, Tsai took the reins of the family business from his father, Wan-Lin, once Taiwan’s richest man. After overseeing the collaboration between Alibaba Group and Cathay Insurance China in 2015, Cathay Financial Holdings went on to become the first Taiwanese financial services firm to join Silicon Valley’s Plug and Play Tech Center as a Corporate Anchor Partner in the Fintech programme.
