Robert Kuok

Born in Malaysia and now a resident in Hong Kong, Kuok’s business activities range from palm oil and logistics to hotels, including the Shangri-La brand. Kuok’s Kerry Holdings controls his business interests in Hong Kong and China, including his hotel operations. With a vast business empire covering sugar, palm, shipping, property and hotels, Kuok sits at the very top of the richest tycoons in the region. With an estimated wealth worth over US$11 billion, the Johorian has also given back to the community via the Kuok Foundation, which was set up in the 1970s to help advance education and alleviate poverty.
