In 2016, the founder of massage chair and wellness device company Osim spent some $300 million to delist his company from the Singapore Stock Exchange. The billionaire-businessman says he privatised the company to give it freedom to grow. Osim also owns the GNC brand in parts of Asia and TWG Tea. To tap the China market, he is supposedly eyeing an initial public offering of Osim International in Hong Kong, which could value the company at US$1 billion.
