Can’s Gallery presented “Monster Chapter I: Memory”, a solo exhibition of J. Ariadhitya Pramuhendra, on September 22. Pramuhendra has been interested in painting religious themes—especially Christianity—for several years ago. He’s known for realistic black and white paintings using charcoal. This year, Pramuhendra added a new medium to present one of his artworks; through a light-box.
His first solo exhibition (2008) referred to the psychological complexities of the drama of Leonardo da Vinci’s “Last Supper” (1495-1497). This exhibition had a similar theme. See more pictures from the opening day in the gallery.
