On November 14, Dior held the opening of its pop-up store that is dedicated to #Cruise2019 collection at La Moda, Plaza Indonesia mall, Jakarta. It runs from November 14-30.
The cafe that is located at the heart of Plaza Indonesia was transformed to Maria Grazia Chiuri’s inspiration behind the cruise 2019 collection. She drawn the inspiration from the competitive Mexican horsewomen known as the Escaramuzas. It is fused with an archival toile de jouy motif, which is a French classic energized with the introduction of a series of wild animals, as the main decoration of this ephemeral space.
The cruise 2019 collection that is called “Diorodeo”, has interpreted this combination of tradition and freedom in a contemporary way that boasts the unabashed femininity for which Dior is justly famed.
The pop-up will offer several new versions of the house’s iconic bags – the “Lady Dior” and the “Saddle” bag – imbued with the collection’s inspirations, as well as a broad selection of ready-to-wear, leather goods, shoes, sunglasses, and accessories.
