Here’s something to get excited about in the global fashion scene. Luxury accessories label Jimmy Choo, and e-commerce giant Net-A-Porter have teamed up for the very first time to launch a special 13-piece capsule collection. Inspired by red carpet dressing, as well as the power and glamour that the women walking in it exude, the shoes made their official drop recently on Net-A-Porter on October 7, 2019 — followed by jimmychoo.com on October 8.
Jimmy Choo has long been a stalwart of the red carpet, having dressed the feet of the well-heeled for 23 years. In 1996, the label made its first glamour debut on Princess Diana at a gala event. Decades later, it continues its legacy under Creative Director Sandra Choi, the niece to Jimmy Choo himself. Describing Jimmy Choo as the “authority on celebrity dressing”, Net-A-Porter says in a statement that “Creative Director Sandra Choi always delivers the ultimate statement heel for after hours”.
The designs are inspired by some of the most iconic Jimmy Choo ones to walk the carpet. All are made in luxurious fabrics, and feature glamourous embroidery. Click through the gallery to see the shoes up-close.
The shoes are now available on Net-A-Porter, Jimmychoo.com and select stores worldwide.
