Louis Vuitton has a new artistic director for Watches and Jewellery. Francesca Amfitheatrof, formerly from Tiffany & Co., came on board last year, citing shared “values of craftsmanship and travel” as reasons for her move. Her first creation — the B.Blossom fine jewellery collection — remains faithful to Louis Vuitton‘s heritage, and commitment to craftsmanship.
At the heart of the collection is the iconic and recurrent motif of the star-shaped flower. First designed by Georges-Louis Vuitton in 1896, it is made over with a spherical stamp set with diamond and white gold. The range speaks to the confident, bold woman of today with the use of gold, diamonds and hard stones such as malachite and opal.
Also central to the collection are its statement rings. These are available in seven designs of onyx, malachite, white agate, pink opal, diamonds, or in both yellow and pink gold.
If those prove too dainty, the signet ring lends a more masculine edge. Instead of a crest or an engraved coat of arms, the ring features the star-shaped flower set with diamonds.

Set to adorn the wrist of many a jewellery lover is the gold Manchette cuff, studded with diamonds or onyx. Everyday wrist candy takes its form in the B. Blossom chain bracelet, which comes in yellow and white gold, and pink and white gold. These are laden with beads featuring the sphere and a square pendant with the motif in exquisite Mother of pearl.
Louis Vuitton’s B.Blossom collection is available at Marina Bay Sands Island maison and ION Orchard boutique.
