LVMH has been making some pretty big waves as of late, and just last month, the Group officially debuted its first ever watch week — the LVMH Watch Week Dubai 2020. Created to showcase the superior creativity, strength, and innovation that underlies the key watchmaking brands within the group, the event brought together LVMH’s four big watch names – Bvlgari, Hublot, TAG Heuer, and Zenith.
In three days of horological advancement and lavish hospitality, the four maisons united to deliver a wholly new brand experience — a subtle nod to the unparalleled expertise and savoir faire that belies the LVMH Manufacturers. The event took place at the ultra-luxe Bvlgari Hotel, where exclusive guests and a selected group of media professionals gathered on the lush gardens of the Bvlgari Hotel Yacht Club for a welcome press conference.
The conference was also attended by the big names behind the four watchmaking brands — Stéphane Bianchi, CEO of the LVMH Watchmaking Division and CEO of TAG Heuer, Jean-Christophe Babin, Bvlgari CEO, Ricardo Guadalupe, Hublot CEO, and Julien Tornare, Zenith CEO.
The day ended off with a fabulous dinner party on the sand, where guests enjoyed a delectable culinary journey, along with fun activities such as evening camel rides. The event was replete with new releases, such as Bvlgari’s unveil of its Serpenti Seduttori Tourbillon.
Just for the occasion, the so-called Roman Jeweler of Time had put together a breathtaking collection of timepieces rooted in three key collections — Serpenti, Divas’ Dream, and Octo. Among the exquisite creations, the new Serpenti Seduttori mini Tourbillon is particularly interesting, as it sets a new record as the market’s smallest women’s tourbillon to exist.
